This week we’re revealing the results of The Big Property Investor Survey!
Over the summer we asked hundreds of Property Hub members to fill in a short survey, and since then we’ve had a professional data analyst sifting through the data to pull out the most interesting insights.
Take a listen and you’ll find out the average age at which investors buy their first property, whether houses or flats are more popular, how many properties the average investor owns, how much money we’re all making…and a whole lot more!
You’ll also find the results in written form in this blog post by Rob D.
And not only that, but we’ve put all the information together into a handy infographic so you can see all the main takeaways at a glance!
If you have your own site, please feel free to grab the image and share it there! And if you don’t have your own site, go ahead and share it on Facebook or Twitter instead.
Resource of the week
Its slogan is “Surf the web without annoying ads”, and we couldn’t put it any better! It’s Adblock Plus, and as the name suggests, it sits quietly in your browser and blocks those annoying banners and pop-ups that get in your way when you’re browsing the internet.
Install it, forget about it, and you’ll be shocked when you next use someone else’s computer when you see how many ads there are!
News this week
It’s nearly Halloween, so seems like an appropriate time to buy a ghost town, right? Well, you’re in luck: an entire 62-acre town is being sold in auction in the US with a guide price of just £497,000.
OK, we admit it: it’s been a very slow news week…
This week’s mentions
Rob D in “written a book that’s not about property” shocker!
Yes, Rob and his wife have written a book called “Protect Your Tech: A geek-free guide to a safe and private digital life”.
Whether you know it or not, you’re putting your personal data at risk every time you access the internet on your phone, go online in a hotel or cafe, or even log onto a website at home. It’s terrifying how easy it is for a hacker to get hold of information they can use to get into bank accounts or steal your identity – but this book gives you easy steps to follow to make yourself significantly safer.
The Kindle version of the book is currently only 77p on Amazon, and we’d love it if you could support Rob by buying and reviewing! You can grab it on Amazon here.
Or if you’d rather wait, the book will be free for a week soon before it goes up to its full price – we’ll let you know when it’s free in case you’d rather not pay.
